On Monday, June 4, 2012, New Gideon Baptist Church will launch its 1st summer enrichment Camp A.C.E. This event is the perfect solution to keep our children aspired, cultivated, and enriched. Not long ago, Valley Park, earned its reputation as a tough neighborhood with many of the same problems faced by similar mostly urban, minority neighborhoods. It was polluted with crime, truancy, substance abuse, obesity, teen pregnancy, and academic failure. But all that is changing, and the New Gideon Baptist Church is playing a big part in the transformation. Camp A.C.E seeks to continue this trend by hosting world-class, community-wide events that reflect the rich diversity of the constituents of this great city and state.

​Being engaged in the lives of our youth in a productive way is the undercurrent of what will make Camp A.C.E thrive and support our mission: to ASPIRE, CULTIVATE, communicate, and conserve knowledge in order to ENRICH the capacity of individuals to think, to learn, to act and to lead with integrity and wisdom.
